Daylight shows that yesterday's rain stripped many trees of their leaves.  The fog has lifted, there are already peeks of sun. I wish I didn't have another doctor's appointment today, It looks like a pleasant day to check fall chores off the list.  The leaves left are beautiful, glistening jewel tones as the sun strikes them.
Bekah got her last flower seed order called in. Now to work on vegetable seed orders.  A few flowers may get mixed in.  The seed order she placed yesterday won't be shipped for a while so she can still add to it.
Gilbert had a doctor's appointment yesterday.  The doctor was pleased to find that there is no infection.  He wasn't very encouraging about Gilbert ever getting good use of that hand.
For years the rule was "Plant garlic the last week in October"  It's been so warm the last few years they have waited into November.  As I look at weather forecasts I think it would be wise to go back to the old rule.  Not only are showers forecast for halloween but so are strong, cold breezes.
May your day be blessed, Sally
