The feed store called about six last evening. The chicks had just arrived. They were unpacking them, giving them water and food. Gary said they looked good. Someone will go pick ours up this morning. Bekah will plug in the brooder so it will be warm for them.
With most of the snow gone, crocus and snowdrops are popping up. Today is cleanup day. Nothing is frozen to the ground or under snow. Last night there was a cardinel scratching for sunflower seeds that had been frozen in the snow. I think it is time to put the new clothesline up. The Paris Farmers Union called yesterday to make sure we were ready for their truck Monday.
Today is still raw but I think next Saturday bowls of pansies can go on the picnic tables. May your day be blessed, Sally
