Mostly sunny, calm, 39 degrees.  a WNW wind today with a high of 49.  Some clouds move in later this afternoon.  A NNW breeze tonight with a low of 29.  Cloudy tomorrow with a brisk SE breeze, a high of 42.  Rain tomorrow night with a stiff SSe breeze, a low of  33. Light rain Sunday morning with a strong WNW breeze, a high of 43, the low 30.

Partly cloudy Monday with a NNW breeze, a high of 44, a low of 28.  Some rain or snow showers Tuesday with a stiff NE breeze, a high of 41.  An inch? of snow Tuesday night with a low of 27.  Partly cloudy Wednesday with a strong WNW breeze, a high of 41, a low of 24.  Warming up to seasonable temperatures Thursday with partly cloudy skies and a SW breeze,  A high of 47, a low of 32.  Cloudy next Friday with a south breeze, a high of 51, a low of 37.  Showers next Saturday with a brisk NE breeze, a high of 49, a low of 36.  Brisk WNW breezes the week of the 13th with clouds, highs in the low 50s, lows about 36.

    I went to the doctor's yesterday. The roads were not good going to the doctors.  School was delayed, then canceled.  We didn't get the inches of snow forecast, the ice and slush are gone this morning.

  . My lungs sounded clear but she wanted an Xray and an EEG.  The EEG was all good but the x ray showed I had pneumonia.  If she had seen me last week she would have put me in the hospital on iv antibiotics.  As it was I am much better than I was last week so she put me on oral antibiotics.   The same thing happened the summer after Darel died.  I was sent home, and went back two days later very sick.  My daughter in law had told me to insist on an x-ray.  That time I was in the hospital 36 hours on iv.  In the hall because they didn't have an empty room.  M blisters from the pemphigoid relapse are mostly healed.  Now to get my strength back!

    People asked about the magonias that are coming.   They are a cold hardy variety named Ann with large pink blossoms.  The plants will be 12-18 inches tall and priced at sixty dollars.  The bareroot nursery order that has the fruit trees on it leaves Minnesota April 21st.  The strawberries and asparagus will be shipped from Connecticut 4/28.  We don't have a ship date from Prides Corner farm yet.

    The chicks are supposed to come today.  The feed store won't know for sure until eight when the post office opens. Sometimes the post office calls earlier because the sound of that many chiks peeping is overwhelming.   Bekah has everything ready.  Azalea and Izzy washed the feeders and waterers.  Four weeks from now they will be washing hummingbird feeders.
