The Christmas Village is all boxed up. Today the stand will go back in the garage and the Village will be packed away for another year. It isn't the twelfth day of Christmas yet but the batteries died in the Advent candles so the wreath is put away. I got a late start yesterday on taking down the Village because I started thinking about what I'm going to do in the kitchen garden next spring. I'm thinking positively that I will be strong enough to clean up the mess from that heavy snow. There will be more room for sun loving flowers. Flowers prefered by butterflies are all sunlovers. I made a list of nine pairs. There won't be that much room! The storm didn't take out that many plants. I want to plant yarrow and peppermint along the back of the house to repel skunks. I'd planned to do that last year but pemphigoid interfered.
Bekah sent in more seed orders. And went through more books. Seeds will start arriving next week. In two weeks we'll be setting up the germination lights.
Will there be enough sun to warm up the greenhouse on all the partly cloudy, cold days in the forecast? Jay is hoping so. There is a lot to be done in the greenhouses, especially the new greenhouse.
May your day be Blessed, Sally
