Not many things got checked off the to do list yesterday. but it was a pleasant day. Bekah, Jay and Azalea went to New Sharon to have Christmas with Jay's family. They had a good day. Bekah took hot water out to the hens before she left. She collected what eggs there were, I went out a couple times during the day and in the evening. Each time I collected the eggs and threw them down scratch. We only buy scratch feed from Pullen because their scratch is high quality. The extra corn in the scratch warms the hens as they digest it and keeping busy scratching through the bedding to get every last kernel of grain warms them up too.
Heather and Mike came out. Heather and Maegin had fun making a fancy, three layer, cranberry, chlocate, gluten free Christmas cake. We all enjoyed taste testing. Gilbert came down for a piece and took a piece home for Barbie.
I have an air purifier. The last few years it has been up at my sisters. When the air was heavy with the smoke from the Canadian fires Tom had problems breathing. The air purifier took the smoke out of the air for him. She bought it back a while ago. The skunk moved around some during those warm days, making the laundry smell. Mike set up the air purifier, by afternoon the laundry was odor free.
Today is Epiphany Sunday, tomorrow is the last day of Christmas. In church today we celebrate Communion, thankful for Christ all year, not just at Christmas. May you be blessed on this day, Sally
