I spent some time yesterday pricing tires.  The ones on the truck are 5ears old and beginning to show their age.  Prices ranged from $972 to $1000.  Not enough difference to have bothered to shop.  Doug is going to check one more place.
I got a load of grain.  The pullets are laying enough eggs to pay for their feed.  There are still some small eggs but most of their eggs are mediums, a few are large.  The mediums tip the scale at almost large.  I priced thistle seed and peanuts and decided my birds would have to settle for sunflower seed.
On my way home I got groceries.  As I loaded them in the truck I was moaning to myself that I only had a few dollars left.  As I thought about it I decided I should be thankful that I got all the items on my list and had a few dollars left!  Actually I think groceries have gone down a few cents here and there.
We had a few seed potatoes that didn't sell so I planted them even though it was the middle of June.  I dug them yesterday and got about twenty pounds of pretty red potatoes.  While I was digging potatoes I dug dandelions making the hens happy too.  I still have more dandelions to dig. Dandelion seeds found my raised beds very comfortable.
May your day be blessed, Sally
