I was expecting an Amazon order yesterday, liquid iron and Advent candles. The Advent candles came, the iron was delayed two weeks. I'll be taking the last dose from the currant bottle tonight. So I went to Bangor yesterday. The girls will be selling simmering packs at Christmas and I like to have a simmering pan on the stove. Star Anise and whole cloves are 2/3s cheaper from Amazon than in town. Cinnamon sticks are about the same. We like to put oranges in our packs. We decided to slice and dehydrate the oranges. Just in case any of you want to make your own. The changing of the clocks Saturday seems like a good time to get the simmering pan out.
Garlic planting is on the agenda today. It depends on what the rain amounts to. The cloves are all separated. That tales about as long as the planting. Then after planting the garlic needs mulched.
May God bless your day, Sally
