Choose to be kind over being right and you'll be right every time.

Clear, calm, and 48 degrees.  Perhaps a few clouds this morning but mostly sunshine with a SW breeze and a high of 80.  Clear tonight with a low of 53.   Sunshine tomorrow with a SW breeze, a high of 64, a low of 56.  Partly cloudy Tuesday with a WSW breeze, a high of 85, a low of 57.  Mostly cloudy Wednesday with a light SW breeze, a high of 82, a low of 59.  Cloudy Thursday with a NE breeze, a high of 76, a low of 55.  Partly cloudy Friday and Saturday with NE breezes, highs around 70.  Friday night's low 49, Saturday night's low 45.  Partly cloudy next Sunday, Monday and Tuesday with north breezes, highs about 70, lows about 48.  Cloudy Wednesday the 25th with a WSW breeze, a high of 72, a low of 50.  Perhaps morning showers Thursday the 26th with a WSW breeze, a high of 73, a low of 51.  Partly cloudy Friday the 27th and Saturday the 28th with SW breezes, highs in the low seventies, lows in the low fifties.  Morning showers Sunday the 29th with a brisk WNW breeze, a high of 69, a low of 48.

The groundwork is done for the new greenhouse.  Now the sand has to settle and pack before the greenhouse is set up.
The mums are all moved to the display area.  Corn shocks and hay bales  are for sale.  Some pumpkins are on display, more will go out today.  Fall has arrived even though it isn't the 21st yet.
Nine pullet eggs yesterday.  Four on the floor, five in nests.  They are beginning to realize what is happening and where they should lay the egg.  I'm disappointed that one of the hens that is supposed to be an araucana is laying a white egg.  Customers like the colored eggs.
About 50 blue jays showed up yesterday to eat the acorns from the oak trees.  How does the word  get out?  We haven't been seeing any bluejays.  Both the garden pond and the maple syrup pan farm are full of frogs. For a while  the crows, ravens and raccoons were eating all the frogs.  Frogs, toads, snakes, we are happy to see them.  Their diet consists of garden insects we don't like.
Yesterday I kept my sister company , she was having a yard sale that included lots of Christmas stuff.  I bought decorations for wreaths and lights for the Country Junction Christmas.  They already have orders for several wreaths.  I also got bows for the church box.
May God bless you on this day, Sally
