9/13/24If you always think your happiness is somewhere else it will never be where you are.  It is cloudy, calm, 55 degrees. Cloudy this morning, some breaks of sun this afternoon.  A high of 81 with a WNW breeze.  Some clouds tonight with a low of 50.  Sunshine tomorrow with a NNE breeze, a high of 77, a low of 50. Partly cloudy Sunday with a SW breeze, a high of 80, a low of 55.  Partly cloudy Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday with west breezes, highs in the mid eighties, lows in the mid fifties.  Partly cloudy Thursday with a NNW breeze, a high of 78, a low of 56.  Partly cloudy next Friday and Saturday with highs of 71, lows of 50.  NE breezes Friday becoming NW Saturday. Partly cloudy next Sunday with a WSW breeze, a high of 74, a low of 51. Partly cloudy Monday the 23rd with a north breeze, a high of 76, a low of 51. Partly cloudy Tuesday the 24th with a light west breeze, a high of 74, a low of 52.  Showers the rest of the work week with highs in the low seventies, lows in the low fifties.

    Yesterday was a hay day.  There is still a trailer to mow this morning.  It gets dark early now, there are no lights in the haymow. The barns are filling up.

    Jay finished  taking up the plastic and soaker hoses where the cumbers were.  All that work putting down the plastic and soaker hoses in the spring, now the work of taking them up,  But we had cucumbers from June until just a week ago.

     Doug is almost finished moving all the topsoil from the site of the new greenhouse.  Then the loads of gravel come for the base.

     My hibiscus are beautiful.  I have three of them. They don't like to be too wet but they do need moisture to keep blooming. I'm going to water them today, some of the water will be fertilizer water .
