Skunks are roaming around.  Today I will sprinkle cayenne pepper along the section of the back of the house that seems so attractive to skunks.  I have peppermint plants to plant back there but we haven't had a chance to set it up the way we want yet.
The large nursery order went in yesterday.  It took some time as Bekah had to learn how to scan things on my computer.
Today the first of the seed orders will go in.  This order is mostly flower seeds.  As Bekah did the order she was also working on the Jolly Farmer plug order.  We agreed that there is a downside to working on these orders.  It means the 2024 season is speeding by.  Heather ordered several seeds for her cut flower business on the seed order.  Her greenhouse is almost finished.  Bekah has made room for some of Heather's seedlings in the past.  The Amish family who bought the farm just down the road moved in in April  So Bekah raised vegetable seedlings for them.  They have built a nice greenhouse to start their plants.  Not raising their seedlings or Heather's will give Bekah more room in the greenhouse we have now.  They will start the fires in it towards the end of February.  There will be more space in the new greenhouse.  Ordering is a challenge this year as they plan the best way to use the space.  They also have to make sure they don't expand beyond what they can handle.  They want to make sure their seedlings and hanging baskets continue to be high quality.  . As of now they plan to start the fire in the new greenhouse the third week in March.  Their to-do list for the rest of this season is very long!
May God bless you on this day, Sally
