The smoke from the Canadian fires dominated the day,  It was particularly bad for Doug and Bekah working in the hayfied.  Plus the hay wasn't curing because the smoke was obscuring the sun.  Jay said his eyes felt like he'd been sitting by a smoky campfire.  Mine are still burning this morning.  And I mostly stayed in the house with the windows closed.  I'm short of breath from being anemic, the smoke made breathing worse.  All I could think of was how hard the day must be for people with severe respiratory problems.  What about the people who lived close to the fires?  Today's thunderstorms should clear the air.
Jay and Azalea got green beans and sweet corn from Millers, the Amish family.  Jay mowed some of the lawns with the hand mower, Bekah did others with the tractor,  There has been enough rain so that the lawns always seem to need mowing
Some of the mums are showing buds.  Some will be in bloom for people who like them Labor Day weekend.
The kids are going to the Bradford church Bible School this week.  The church does a wonderful job..  Not only do the kids have fun but we are very pleased with what they are learning..
The Andrews moved the old pellet stove out yesterday.   Now RJ heating can install the new one at their convenience.
I'm not sure what today will bring.  I have a doctor's appointment.  Bekah will work on the plug and cutting order.  Which means setting the date for starting the greenhouse fires next February.  May your day be Blessed, Sally.
