7/7/24Today let our prayer be, "Lord, I'm ready to listen."

Bekah and Doug spent the day wrapping  the big round bales of oats and peas.  Jay spent the day picking vegetables and helping customers with Azalea helping. After a long nap I got the patch for tithonia in front of the house ready to plant. I filled the bird feeders with fresh seed.  The purple finches are bringing their fledglings.  I got my evening chores done before that storm hit.  Bekah and Azalea weren't so lucky, the wall of water when it came in caught them.
Even though it is Sunday, Jay will be picking.  At these temperatures cucumbers and squash will grow too big in 24 hours if not picked.  Bekah has to do some repairs on the chicken's home, they have pestered a window until they can get out.  Due to the bird flu we can't let them run loose.  I take them grass and succulent weeds twice a day.
May God be with you on this day, Sally
