7/8/24Someone is sitting in the shade today because someone planted a tree years ago.

Sun with a few clouds, calm, 69 degrees.  Sun and clouds today, a WSW breeze, a high of 88.  Partly cloudy tonight with a low of 66.  Cloudy tomorrow with a brisk SSW breeze, a high of 89, a low of 68.  44% chance of PM showers Wednesday with  a WSW breeze, a high of 83.  A low of 67. Rain Wednesday night, may total an inch,  A half inch of rain forecast for Thursday with an ESE breeze.  A high of 77, a low of 69.  Perhaps some morning showers Friday with a brisk SW breeze, a high of 86, a low of 69.  Isolated thunderstorms Saturday with a WSW breeze, a high of 86, a low of 66.  Partly cloudy Sunday with a west breeze, a high of 87,  low of 67.  PM thunderstorms next Monday and Tuesday with SW breezes, highs of 87, lows of 67.  Perhaps a morning shower next Wednesday with a north breeze, a high of 82, a low of 62.  Partly cloudy Thursday the 16th and Friday the 17th with westerly breezes, highs about 83, lows about 62.  Perhaps some showers Saturday the 20th with a south breeze, a high of 85. a low of 64.  Partly cloudy on the 21st and 22ed with highs of 85, lows of 63.

    The high on the weather station yesterday was 92.  That's on the roof in the breeze.  It was 101 on the ground.  Jay spent the day picking vegetables..Customers were buying them from the wagons before he got them on the stand!  Late afternoon everyone picked more cucumbers so Jay could go swimming with everyone.  There are still more that need to be picked first thing. this morning.

    Anytime there is something n one knows what to do with it gets put in my room.  It was too hot to work outside so I worked on it.  Two big boxes are packed to go to the Salvation Army.  I found some mold on the wall under the window.  I've ordered a dehumidifier, it is supposed to be here midweek.  When the cookrange was used all summer it kept things dry.  Even without the cookrange going the upstairs was so hot last night they put in an air conditioner.

    There are about a dozen purple finch fledglings at the feeders this morning.  No parents this morning.  Before this there have been parents with them.

     Bekah made a batch of pickles last night.  I may try to find time to make a batch today.  I have PT this morning.  May your day be blessed, Sally
