My computer isn't slow this morning, I am.  Yesterday was a busy day,  I did odds and ends in the house.  I went to Corinth for boxes to send home plants in.  There were none at the supermarket so I stopped at the food cupboard.  There was a tall stack of them there but they said they use all their boxes.  However it was close to closing and they had food boxes left.  They were sure with my large family I could find use for the food.  So they put it in the back of my truck.  A nice gift but things like the apples had to be cared for right away.  I spent a couple hours peeling and cutting up apples for an apple crisp and  the freezer  Some of the bags already had rotten apples in them.  There were no apples left in the freezer from last fall.I'm thinking this may be a good day to defrost the freezer.  We haven't had any extra asparagus to freeze but there is rhubarb that needs to be picked and frozen.  I shouldn't start a new year without defrosting the freezers.
Bekah planted green beans again yesterday.  Customers are hungry for green beans so the first crop gets sold on the stand.  Plus the second crop comes on when there is a break in the haying.  Bekah cans lots of dilly beans.  Soon we'll have summer squash and cucumbers.
     May God bless you, Sally
