Yesterday was a good day.  The liquid iron seems to be working, I felt better.  I got quite a bit done outside compared to what I have been accomplishing.  When the late afternoon thunderstorm rolled in I was ready to rest.  We lost power.  Our new whole house set up didn't work.  We messaged Rob, he was on his way home from work and was here in minutes.  It only took him a minute to find the problem.  It has been dry enough that even though it was pouring the cellar didn't flood before Rob got the power on .Everything worked fine.  The power company called when the power came back on.  A free service I signed up for.
The soaker hose was running on the carrots, Jay went out in the rain and shut it off.  Tomorrow's rain may add up to a quarter of an inch.  As dry as it has been, Jay plans to keep watering today.  Cucumbers and onions need a lot of water. With yesterday's rain and the forecast they will get a break from the hand watering of the plants in the nursery..  I got a soaker hose for my strawberries yesterday but they got enough water for now.  The most finches we/ve seen in a while came to the feeders when the rain stopped.
May God bless you on this day, Sally
