The greenhouse strawberry patch is in the ground.  I want to plant some behind the house in my raised bed too.  Heather started planting her flower garden for her bouquets. 4 inch pots are ready to plant cucumber seeds to grow for sale.  Our second round of seeds will be planted.  In a few days the first row of cucumbers for the stand will be planted.  The black  plastic is down, warming up the soil.  Remay will go over the plants to keep them warm.  Gilbert's first round is planted..  He built a low tunnel for them so they have plastic over the plants as well as remay.
Hummingbirds arrived in lower Bradford yesterday.  Jay thought he saw one on the purple waves here.  My waves are hanging on the barn, my fuchsias will go out today.  I made hummingbird food last night.  One cup of white sugar to four cups of water.  My feeders will go out this morning.  My oriole feeder will go out too.  I'll put the same sugar water recipe in it as I do the hummingbird feeders.  It has a place for an orange  half and some grape jelly.  One hummingbird feeder goes by my climbing rose.  Hummingbirds eat a lot of insects.
We have a pair of peacocks.  The door to their home was opened yesterday.  We'll let them run loose if they behave.
May God bless you on this day, Sally
