5/ 13/24  Mothers are flowers in the garden of life.

Calm, clouds, 43 degrees,  Clouds today with lots of sunny breaks, a west breeze, a high of 66. Clouds tonight with a brisk south breeze, a low of 46.  Showers tomorrow morning, afternoon clouds.  An ESE breeze, a high of 61, a low of 49.  Some showers Wednesday and Thursday with east breezes, highs about 70, lows of 53.  Cloudy Friday with an east breeze, a high of 71, a low of 51.  Showers this weekend with NE breezes.  A high of 62 Saturday, 68 Sunday.  Lows about 49.  Partly cloudy next Monday with a SE breeze, a high of 72, a low of 52.  Some showers every day  the rest of the week into the morning of Saturday the 25th.  SW breezes will switch to the north Thursday. After a high of 70 next Tuesday highs will be in the mid sixties, lows in the upper forties. Partly cloudy Sunday the 26th with a NNE breeze, a high of 68, a low of 48.

     We were blessed with more sunshine than forecast yesterday.  Sun and not many black flies made shopping at the nursery pleasant. On the other side of the yard parents enjoyed visiting why kids enjoyed playing in the sun.  Different ones spent some time getting wood in.  A lot of the pile went in because Mike spent hours at it.  He also treated everyone to pizza.

    The greenhouse is full of hanging plants but the first round is gone.  The fruit tree inventory is getting low but I think there are a few of each kind left.  There are still so many shrubs that it doesn't look like it, but a few kinds of shrubs are sold out.

  Orioles have reached south Bradford, 3 or 4 miles away.  Will we see one today?  I have lots of hummingbirds, so I had to make more food last night.   They are going into the greenhouse, how do they know there are flowers in there?
