Calm, clear, 30 degrees.  Sunshine this morning, some clouds this afternoon, a light WNW breeze, a high of 64.  Clouds tonight, gentle south breezes, a low of 37.  Cloudy tomorrow with a stiff south breeze, a high of 63,a low of 46.  Partly cloudy Monday with a light north wind, a high of 65, a low of 36.  Partly cloudy Tuesday with a NNE breeze, a high of 60, a low of 39. Occasional overnight showers.  Some morning showers Wednesday with an ENE breeze, a high of 57, a low of 39.  Partly cloudy Thursday with a south breeze, a high of 64, a low of 44.  Cloudy Friday with a brisk east breeze, a high of 63, a low of 46.  Showers next Saturday with a brisk east breeze, a high of 60, a low of 43.  Cloudy Sunday with a brisk ESE breeze, a high of 59, a low of 42.  Possible afternoon showers next Monday with a brisk WNW breeze .A few showers next Tuesday with a stiff NNW breeze, a high of 57, a low of 41. Showers the 8th and 9th with stiff north breezes, highs of 58, lows of 41.  Partly cloudy Friday the 10th and Saturday the 11th with brisk north breezes, highs in the low sixties, lows in the low forties.

    I spent yesterday at sister Lynne's helping care for her husband Tom.  During the night Togus, the vetern's hospital.  sent an ambulance for him.  He needs morphine to be comfortable.  His lungs  are producing so much mucus that his body wasn't getting any when Lynne gave it to him orally.  He is now getting it by IV and is comfortable.

    Potatoes are cut up to plant.  Today while the cut side dries peas will be planted.    Some  of the bareroot plant orders were potted up yesterday.  They were put in the baker to harden off.  More will be potted up today.  With the lovely weather lots of customers will be coming by. Notice came that the large nursery order will arrive Tuesday.  It comes all potted up.

    The highlight of the day was the father daughter dance.  Some very pretty girls and handsome Dads.  Heather made beautiful corsages and boutonnieres for them.
