The selectmans' meeting got over early but the last thunderstorm didn't roll through until after ten.  Another night past my bedtime means a nap this afternoon.  We have an interim town manager, the office will be open as usual from here on out.  The selectman and the interim manager have their work cut out for them straightening out the office.  The job description for a new manager will be posted this week.  They will start interviewing applicants in three weeks.  Last night people were asking me about the problem we were having with people stealing flowers.  The previous town manager said we had a problem.  We have not had any flowers stolen.  I have no idea why she would tell people that.  Unless she knows something about the future that we don't.
Her integrity is questable.
It rained so hard why Jay was picking vegetables he dumped water out of his boots.  I had him take the boot dryer home so he could put dry boots on this morning.  Bekah built a fence but not much else was done outside.  One lady came for perennials, stood under the headhouse eve  looking at the rain and decided to come back another day.
I see some blue sky.  There are breaks of sun.  Today I'll be back in my gardens.  There is a cardinal flower blooming by my kitchen pond.  Jay and Bekah have a meeting with a representative of the company we bought our soil from last year.  They are in Maine today meeting with the greenhouse that had losses because of the bad soil they sold last year.
May God bless you on this day, Sally
