Some clouds, a gentle breeze, 58 degrees.  Sun and clouds this morning, scattered thunderstorms this afternoon.  A high of 83 with a SW breeze.  A steady rain overnight with a south breeze, a low of 63.Thunderstorms tomorrow morning with a strong WNW breeze, a high of 76, a low of 58.  Partly cloudy Saturday with a WSW breeze, a high of 79, a low of 62.  Thunderstorms Sunday with a brisk SSW breeze, a high of 79, a low of 59.  Partly cloudy Monday with a stiff WNW breeze, a high of 79, a low of 59.  Showers Tuesday with a SE breeze, a high of 72, a low of 59.  Partly cloudy Wednesday and next Thursday with brisk WSW breezes, highs about 80.  Wednesday's low 60, Thursday's 64.  Showers next Friday with a stiff SSW breeze, a high of 80, a low of 59.  Partly cloudy next weekend and the 21st and the 22ed with westerly breezes, highs about 80, lows about 60.  Isolated thunderstorms Wednesday the 23, partly cloudy Thursday the 24th with WNW breezes,  higs in the upper to mid seventies, lows about 57.

     The representative of the company that we bought our soil from last year came yesterday.  She agreed there was a problem, said the company wants to make it right and took more samples.  Now we wait another week with no idea what  they will offer to make it right.  They had several greenhouses to visit.

     Brisk winds dried things off to make picking vegetables pleasant.  Digging potatoes was pretty muddy.  They didn't pick the green beans until afternoon when the plants dried.  Fall mums are getting large.  Bekah is rearranging them so they continue to grow into nicely shaped plants..

     The geraniums that I put outside aren't doing well.  Too much rain.  The same for my containers, they are always wet so they aren't getting fertilized.  I used a liquid fertilizer that I give them when I water them.  I set the geraniums in full sun.  Tonight I am going to cover them so they can't get rained on again.

     Late afternoon I'm going to the water softener store for my year's supply of water softener salt.  Then to a memorial and winding up the day with a church meeting.  The Loop may be late tomorrow!
