.10 of rain overnight.  Some clouds, a variable breeze, 58 degrees.  Sun and clouds today with a slight chance of a shower.  A stiff west breeze with a high of 81.  Becoming cloudy tonight with a light SW breeze, a low of 64.Cloudy tomorrow with a NW breeze, a high of 77, a low of 54.  Sunshine Tuesday and Wednesday with NW breezes highs of 75.  Tuesday's low 50, Wednesday's low 54.  Sunshine Thursday with a WSW breeze, a high of 76. a low of 58.  Showers Friday with a stiff south breeze, a high of69, a low of 60. An ESE breeze Saturday with some showers, a high of 68, a low of 54. Showers next Sunday and Monday with brisk NNE breezes, highs about 67, lows about 53.  Partly cloudy the rest of next week with highs in the low seventies, lows in the mid fifties.  Possible showers the weekend of the 2ed and 3rd with highs  about 71, lows of 55.

    Yesterday was pleasant, no rain.  Bekah fertilized the perennials that are in pots.  Even though they use a time-release fertilizer that is supposed to be good for all summer, this summer's rain has washed all the good out of the pots.  She used fish emulsion to help put the good microbacteria back in the soil.  She has been repotting some shrubs into larger pots with new soil.  Less watering this year but the rain has made for a different type of maintenance.  Quite a few perennials left for their forever homes.  It is good planting weather.  Lots of moisture, not so hot and few bugs.

    Jay planted two 100 foot rows of carrots.  The carrots grew very well but he sold the last of them yesterday.  They not only grew well but tasted good!  

     Rob came by to go over what needs to be done to finish the electrical update. He and Andrew had gotten more done than I knew which was good news.  Tomorrow I can call the electrician and tell him exactly what needs to be done.
