Yesterday was a good day for me. I went to the doctor standing crooked and came home standing straight. Plus my sister took me so we got in some visiting. When I got home Cindy helped me pot up the fuschias I got from Beth and a few other things.
Cindy also potted up the begonias that go in the church carport and dropped them off last night. Why I was gone Cindy, Bekah and Darel's Heather redid the display area. It is time to replace the annuals with perennials.
Jay picked vegetables. No new potatoes yet. He says it will be another week. There were quite a few vegetables but they sold out quickly. Only Swiss chard was left by late afternoon. When Jay got through picking vegetables he weeded. The weeks seem to thrive in the rain. The ground is so moist that they pull easily. They spent some time helping the neighbors when their cows got out. Then they came home and the dairy heifers were out! They put them in the barn and turned the fan on. It was 98 degrees. I had to have a fan on the get together room floor because there were wet spots from condensation. Willis thought I'd turned it on for him.
Doug round baled some hay. Until the baler broke down. He was able to get what he needed to fix it off a neighbor's parts baler. Today he'll be back baling.
May God bless you on this day, Sally
