Despite the rain Jay and Bekah got a lot done yesterday.  The mums are all set up with the automatic waterers.  Two hundred foot hoses will run water out to them when it dries up.  They also got a lot of mulching done in the vegetable garden.  The mulch will keep the moisture in and prevent weed seeds from germinating.  Peppers and winter squash are next.  I did some weeding and planted zinnias under the living room windows.  It stopped raining and some sun shone in the evening so the kids could have ball practice. The forecast doesn't look very good for their game tonight.
May God bless you on this day, Sally
