.45 inch of rain yesterday, total for this rainy spell: 2.75.  It's cloudy, calm, and 51 degrees now.  Light rain this afternoon, showers overnight.  Light NE breezes with a high today of 64, a low tonight of 51.  Rain showers tomorrow morning, thunderstorms tomorrow afternoon, partly cloudy tomorrow night.  A light north breeze with a high of 64, a low of 49.  Partly cloudy Sunday with a WNW breeze, a high of 75, a low of 53.  Cloudy Monday with a SSW breeze, a high of 77, a low of 57.  Showers Tuesday with a brisk west breeze, a high of 64, a low of 57.  Scattered thunderstorms Wednesday and Thursday with brisk westerly breezes, highs about 70, lows about 53.  Showers next Friday with a NNW breeze, a high of 68, a low of 53.  Partly cloudy next Saturday with a brisk NNW breeze, a high of 71, a low of 53.  Possible afternoon showers next Sunday with a north breeze, a high of 70, a low of 52.   Some clouds, a few showers the week of the 19th with NNW breezes, highs in the mid seventies, lows in the mid fifties.

     Another day of rain and mud if working outside.  Jay dug holes to set peppers in, the holes filled up with water.  For those who want to plant some shrubs or fruit trees it is great.  It is not our plan to grow a hayfield around the house, appearances are deceiving.  I went up to my sister's for lunch, a pleasant break in a dreary day.  The kids played ball last night in light rain.    The other team had driven all the way down from Greenville so they decided to play.  The light rain kept the mosquitos at bay.  A hard shower moved in during the fifth inning , the game was called.  Everyone went home wet.

     I'm hoping to get something done outside this morning before PT. I don't have to water the pansies in the church box.  They are loving this weather! I'll plant flowers in the rain this afternoon if it is the light rain the forecast is calling for.  May God bless you on this day., Sally
