Yesterday was a quiet and pleasant day with no rain.  Truly a day of rest for every one.  I watered a few things and swept the floor after church.  Bekah moved some fence so the heifers could have new grass.  Heather came and did books.  She brought the good news that she and Mike will close on a piece of property on a lake in Dedham.  Kayak racks are already on top of their car.  The hot, muggy air made sitting by the lake  visiting during Annabelle's birthday party pleasant.    The water was warm enough for lots of swimming.  I came home and took a two hour nap and still enjoyed a good night's sleep.
Showers or not, I'll be planting today.  May God bless you on this day, Sally
