6/27/23  There is no such thing as an unimportant day.

 Clouds and dense fog, a gentle east breeze, 59 degrees  Rain and scattered thunderstorms today.  There is a 90% chance we'll see some rain today, 50% chance of a thunderstorm but there will be some dry periods with a brisk SE breeze, a high of 73,  Occasional showers tonight  with the brsk SSE breeze and a low of 63.  Rain early tomorrow, occasional showers in the afternoon and overnight.  A stiff SSE breeze with a high of 70, a low of 62.  Showers Thursday and Friday with a SSE breeze, highs about 76, lows about 61.  Cloudy Saturday with a SSE breeze, a high of 76, a low of 61.  Showers Sunday with a SE breeze, a high of 69, a low of 61.  Scattered thunderstorms Monday with an EE breeze, a high of 74, a low of 64.  Partly cloudy on the 4th with a 50% chance of scattered thunderstorms in the afternoon, a NNW breeze, a high of 80, a low of 64.  Partly cloudy at fireworks time.    Wednesday, the 5th will be about the same as Tuesday.  Partly cloudy Thursday the 6th with an east breeze, a high of 80, a low of 63.  Possible showers the next five days, scattered thunderstorms Sunday the 9th. with NE breezes, highs about 80, lows about 64.

    Yesterday Bekah visited other greenhouses.  We are fortunate that here in Maine greenhouse owners share their successes and failures with each other.She spent so much time at Hutchinson Greenhouse in Eddington that she never got to visit anymore,  But she didn't mind, she had fun and learned a lot.  Beth is a great mentor.

    I did more than I should have last week.  I got a message from my physical therapist that she could see me at eight.  I was thankful to get the appointment and was careful what I did afterwards.  Today I'll go back to the gardens.  It doesn't take much for me to overdo it but I'll try to be good.  I have more flowers to set out and lots of weeding.

    A critter, likely a raccoon, tore down one of my feeders.  It was a favorite of the birds with both seeds and suet.  It is repairable but I won't put it back up for a while.  And when I do it will go higher.
