Our nursery delivery trucks are having problems. Yesterday Prides Corner Farm was delivering in Farmington before coming here. It took him hours to deliver because so many roads were closed due to the terrible flooding. Finally he headed north and there was a bad accident on route 2, closing the road for hours. He plans to be here this morning. The truckload of fruit trees broke down in Portsmouth this morning. It was supposed to be at Kirby's at eight. Then it was coming here..
Jay and Bekah spent the day potting up a large bare root shipment that came via UPS. The plants were all in good shape. Jay also worked on the rose garden.
Several roses are supposed to come today. I transplanted flowers.
Today I have a doctor's appointment in Millinocket so the nurseries will have to leave messages. Bekah and Jay will be too busy to be by the phone.
May God bless you on this day. Sally
