A busy day at the nursery.  Three shipments came in.  Fortunately they were spread out over the day so each truck could be unloaded quickly.  Drivers like that!  The last load arrived just as lil Andrew was picking up his kids so he helped unload.  Bekah liked that!  There were no plum trees.  The Triumph apple was substituted for Honeycrisp.  It is a cross between Honeycrisp and Liberty bred by the Unn. of Minn.  It is supposed to have the flavor of the Honeycrisp and the disease resistance of the Liberty.
I had time between my doctor's appointment and dinner at my sister's in Dover to call people who wanted to know when the trucks got here.  Several roses have left already.  The shrubs are beautiful!.  Somehow between trucks and customers Bekah got the strawberry plants heeled in trays.  They are such nice plants she wanted to make sure they were cared for.
Today they will be potting up the blueberry and other plants that came bare root.  They got a load of compost from Maple Lane to mix with the potting soil to get the plants off to a good start.
May God bless you on this day, Sally
