I spent most of yesterday visiting with my sister visiting from New York.  She had bought totes of family records and family Bibles  She has cared for them for years,  Gilbert will now store them at his house.  Tiffany and he will go through them as time allows.  Donna thinks some of the records should go to  a historical society.  Prides Corner Farm and Roseland called.  Our nursery stock will be here today, the fruit trees tomorrow.
Bekah spent the day transplanting and Jay planted four inch pots of winter squash.  He planted plenty for us to plant and plenty for customers to plant in their gardens.  As the wind and rain moved away we were thankful there was no damage.  Forecasts say the rest of May will be dry.  If they are right we will be glad for the rain.
My sisters are going shopping in Bangor today.   Bekah and I are going to give the chicks more room.  The nursery order is coming.  I have lots of flowers to transplant.
Last night when I put out my hummingbird and oriole feeders I noticed that it is time to start mulching my flower gardens.  The perennials have a head start on the weeds, I want it to stay that way!
May God bless you on this day, Sally
