4/`9/23 You have your way. I have my way. As for the right way, the correct way, and the only way, it does not exist.

.32 more inches of needed rain yesterday.  It is cloudy, calm, and 37 degrees.  Overcast today with a brisk WNW breeze, a high of 51. Some clouds tonight with a WNW breeze, a low of 34.  Partly cloudy tomorrow with a strong WNW breeze, a high of 55, a low of 33.  Partly cloudy Friday with a light WNW breeze, a high of 58, a low of 36.  Cloudy this weekend with strong SE breezes.  Saturday's high 62, the low 40.  Sunday's high 59, the low 43.  Rain Monday with a brisk east breeze, a high of 50,  a low of 41.  Showers Tuesday with a north breeze, a high of 54, a low of 39.  Cloudy next Wednesday with a NNW breeze, a high of 58, a low of 36.  Morning showers possible next Thursday with a NNE breeze, a high of 56, a low of 40.  Partly cloudy Friday, the 28th with a stiff ENE breeze, a high of 59, a low of 42.   Showers Saturday and Sunday with stiff ENE breezes, highs of 56.  Saturday's low 44, Sunday's low 41.  Brisk WNW breezes to start the  month of May with highs near 60, lows in the low forties.

In a day's time the grass and fields have turned green.Even the way yesterday's rain came in sudden cloud bursts shouted spring.     Jay is going over to help Mike move today and will pick up the onion sets.  Potatoes will be next.  We got confirmation for  the first week in May delivery of strawberry plants.  Also asparagus roots and raspberry plants.
Yesterday Jay and Bekah set the baker up for plants.  A temporary set up for this year.  After they have used it for a season they will know how they want to set it up.  Plus the to-do list is very long.  The warm nights we've been having have made heaters in the outside greenhouses unnecessary.  Thanks to the cool nights we are getting now they had to take time to set up heaters.  They even started the wood stove in the big greenhouse last night.  We are getting propane delivery today.  We hope it is the last delivery of the season.  The heat from the wood stove will help with that goal.  Pepper and tomato plants like a warm greenhouse.
Gilbert set up a small temporary greenhouse for my  plants.  I'm hoping I have enough energy to start a herb garden and have lots of flowers in my flower gardens.  Any room I don't use in the big greenhouse means room for more plants for customers.  Plus a tiny greenhouse right outside my door will give me room to putter.
The chicks are doing well.  Already I need to be thinking about giving them more room.  My little brooder isn't convenient for so many chicks. but we are making it work for this year.  The egg shortage seems to be over.  By next year we will have a better idea what our egg sales will be.
May God bless you on this day, Sally
