4/18/23  The humblest tasks become beautified if done by loving hands.

.46 inch of rain overnight.  foggy now, calm and 46 degrees.  Cloudy today with light rain this afternoon, a strong SW breeze, a high of 58.  A light WSW breeze tonight with some clearing, a low of 36.  Partly cloudy tomorrow with a brisk WNW breeze, a high of 54, a low of 34.  Partly cloudy Thursday with a strong NW breeze, a high of 57, a low of 35.  Cloudy Friday with an east breeze, a high of 60, a low of 39. Cloudy Saturday and Sunday with strong SE breezes, highs of 61, lows of 42.  Showers Monday with a strong ESE breeze, a high of 54, a low of 39. Morning showers next Tuesday with a brisk NNE breeze, a high of 52, a low of 37.  Partly cloudy next Wednesday with a north breeze, a high of 54, a low of 39.  Partly cloudy next Thursday with a brisk NNE breeze, a high of 60, a low of 42.  Showers the next five days with highs about 60, lows about 42 until the 1st and 2ed when the easterly breezes switch to westerly giving us lows in the mid forties.  The almanac says to expect a warm May after a chilly April.

Finally the vegetable greenhouse is covered with plastic.  No windows for ventilation yet but they can be done on a windy day.  Now to find enough hours without wind to cover the new baker greenhouse. Doug spread fertilizer between showers.
After two more trips to the equipment dealer we ordered the tiller part on Amazon.  Super nice people, reasonable prices, and in general a good supply of new and good used parts. We will make an effort to buy any parts we need from them.  We just happened to hit it wrong with this part.  I also went to Corinth for another bundle of lathes.
Jet Star tomato seeds finally came.  I planted some right away.  They will be behind but there is plenty of time for them to produce and they are an all around favorite.  We put the seeds on the heat pad and we'll give the plants extra TLC.
Bekah is going to transplant cole crops today.  I have some herbs to transplant.  Also some flowers for my flower gardens.  May God bless you on this day, Sally
