Rain is good but the plants and us need sun. Let's hope the breaks of sun in the forecast are longer than expected. It is beautiful, warm and green in the greenhouses but the plants would grow faster with sun. Jay got another pick up load of garden supplies from Heather and Mike. With the farm under contract they need to get things moved. He also picked up the onion sets. He weighed out some pound bags. If customers want less we can weigh them out in the store on the digital scale. A pound is a lot of sets!
The clematis was shipped from Minnesota yesterday morning at 11:52. Good to know exactly when the shipment left the nursery? All of the varieties we chose were available. Some of the bare root perennials have come in and been potted up. Bekah spent the day transplanting cole crops. I planted some more seeds and did some transplanting. Whenever Jay has a few extra minutes he works on rearranging the perennial display around the new baker. They aren;t quite sure how they are going to set up the lilac lane.
May God bless you on this day, Sally
