4/4/23 Saints are sinners who keep on trying.
Cloudy, calm, 33 degrees. Clouds and sun this morning, clouds move through this afternoon. A WNW breeze today with a high of 55. Clear tonight north breeze, a low of 25. Light rain and snow tomorrow afternoon, sleet and freezing rain tomorrow night. A NE breeze tomorrow with a high of 36. An east breeze tomorrow night with a low of 30. Showers Thursday with a light SSE breeze, a high of 47. A stiff west breeze Thursday night with a low of 36. Strong west winds Good Friday with sun and clouds, a high of 43. Dropping to 23 Friday night. Sunshine Saturday with a light NW wind, a high of 40, 23 for a low again Saturday night. Sunshine for Easter Sunday with a strong WNW breeze, a high of 50, a low of 29. Partly cloudy Monday with a stiff SW breeze, a high of 57, a low of 38. Possible morning showers next Tuesday with a WSW breeze, a high of 58, a low of 35. Partly cloudy the next seven days with brisk NW breezes, highs about 60, lows in the low forties.
The hoop house is warm with the pansies in it. Some of the pansies aren't doing well. Bekah has called a plant specialist for help. Today the calibrachoas will move to the calibrachoa house. Even with supplemental heat the flowers will be covered with remay because of the cold forecast. Another calf was born, we don't know if it is a bull or heifer yet. Mike came with more of Their gardening supplies. The realtor said not to leave anything.
The Paris Farmers Union order came. A very nice driver which was good because he had problems. He wasn't experienced with the pallet jack and got it stuck. The lift gate had problems. Jay spent a good part of the afternoon helping him get it working so it could be lifted and closed. The order is all checked and everything is here. Last year Doug had to lift their gate closed with the tractor. Our main order comes tomorrow from Griffin. Their driver is always good and their equipment never seems to have a problem. A small freight order is on its way from Connecticut. We thought it would come yesterday. The siding and roofing is here. They will be putting that on today.
