Yesterday was a pleasant start to the first week in April.  Church with communion to start Holy Week. Followed by a family dinner.  At dinner we made plans for an Easter egg hunt and dinner after Easter services at our churches. The Charleston Church that many of the great grandchildren go to had a special kids program last night.  Some parents were taking their kids home for naps before the program.  I suspect the kids weren't the only ones that took a nap!
Today starts a busy week in the greenhouse.  Two shipments, some Coast of Maine soils and some of the supplies come today. The rest of the Coast of Maine order and the rest of the supplies comes Wednesday. Flowers move to the hoop house today.  Plants will be moving to the outside greenhouses and cold frames as tomatoes, peppers and flowers that like it warm take their place in the main greenhouse.  Seeds are supposed to come this week.  They are going after the roofing for the baker this morning.
Open Greenhouse week, the official start for the 2023 season is the first week in May.  But we will be opening next Monday, April 10th so people can buy their seeds and Coast of Maine products.
May God bless you on this day, Sally
