Partly cloudy Sunday, May 7th with a NW breeze, a high of 66, a low of 44.  Partly cloudy the week of the 8th, Open Greenhouse Week, with highs around seventy.  A low of 45 Monday and Tuesday, lows about 50 the rest of the week.  Cloudy on Mother's Day with a SSW breeze, a high of 70.

I went to town meeting yesterday morning.  No fireworks, just a "house keeping" meeting.  In the afternoon i went to Corinth for propane.  Hopefully the last time the greenhouse needs propane this season.  I also bought a couple of rat traps.  We see the barn cats with dead rats all the time but there are some large wily rats we need to trap before we let the chciks out of the brooder.
On May 12th my tractor goes to the Kubota dealer  for repair.  Maybe it won't need a whole new clutch but the bill for repair will be a lot.  Doug said he could save us some money by taking it to them rather than paying them to come get it. Meanwhile Gilbert put the tiller on his tractor and is tilling for us.  Yesterday Jay got the Alisha Craig onions planted and mulched,  Planted with soaker hoses..  Only three bundles of Walla Wallas are left to plant.it may be too wet today.
May God bless you on this day.  Sally
