Yesterday was a good day weatherwise and a lot was accomplished.  A pretty heifer calf was born.  After four bull calves Doug was happy to see a heifer.  The shipment of plugs and cuttings came with the boxes right side up and the plants looking great.  The hay trailer was loaded.  Doug and Sally Jo are now on their way to North Haven with the hay.
A lot got done on the baker.  It was decided to put a permanent polycarbonate roof on it instead of plastic.  They are going for the roofing Monday.  Bekah checked her inventory to make sure she had enough  hanging baskets to put in it.  They will be baskets of sumo petunias.  Another breaker needs to be put in the electric panel box so an electric heater can be used on chilly nights.
A few small flocks of waterfowl have been coming in.  Yesterday some large flocks flew in.  Today's weather will make them wonder why they are here!
May God be with you on this day, Sally
