Yesterday was a quiet day. A few customers came by for some bags of compost and cow manure. Bekah was able to spend the afternoon making up Country Charm containers. I did odds and ends. Sister Lynne stopped by for a visit. The weather was pleasant all day. The sky got dark early in the evening so I decided to shut things up even though the temperature was still 55. Why I was closing the cold frames the sky opened, drenching me with rain and hail. I closed everything up and started the wood stove in the big greenhouse. Then I came into the house and put on dry clothes. The clothes I had on were dripping. The temperature had dropped to 45.
It was lightly raining when I went out to turn the heaters on at dusk. Since I had gotten wet once, I didn't fill the bird feeders. I'll go do that now before they get up. Church this morning, I'm not sure what today will bring. May God be with you on this day, Sally
