A lot of transplanting got done yesterday.  Container tomates to give away Open Greenhouse Week, several different petunias and some other flowers. The sumo petunias are all in gallon pots. All the tomatoes are planted.  The peppers are up and looking good.  The lavender Debbie slipped iis looking good, she transplanted it into  single pots.  Yesterday our lavender order was back ordered until June.  I was able to get some from another nursery that doesn't use neonicotinoids but not as many as I wanted So it is good Debbie's cuttings are doing well.  She is going to take some more today.
I've been seeing small flocks of waterfowl for a week or so.  Yesterday several large flocks went over.  This spring the wild flocks are carrying an avian flu.  I am going to have to keep my hens shut in.  Several people  in Maine have lost their flocks to the flu.  I got a load of chicken food yesterday.  Keeping them inside meana I can't cut back any feed.
Debbie and Maegin cleaned the old cold frame.  Today when lil Andrew stops in he'll look at it with us to see what we can do to tighten it up.  The last few years I've been pulling a large tarp over it every night, taking it off in the morning..  It would be nice not to have to do that.
The wallpaper came so finishing the wall paper is on today's agenda.  It will be good to get my kitchen back to rights.
May God be with you on this day, Sally
