The pansies are in an unheated greenhouse with remay over them to help the transition from warm to cool. Most of the calibrachoa is in a greenhouse with an electric heater to take the chill off if necessary. The calibrachoas that will be used in combo pots are waiting for Bekah to come home and put them together. Then they will go out. Today we open the back room. The sumo petunias will get bumped up to gallon pots and go out there. They need lots of room.
The new cold frame is ready to fill. But we are going to wait until after Saturday's wind just to be sure there are no glitches. The wave petunias will move to it on Monday. Pipe insulation worked so well on it that we are going to renovate the old cold frame with some. All the waves may not fit in the new one.
I took down the heated bird waterer yesterday. Ayden took the cement blocks it was on and set them on the skunk hole. The ground is still too frozen to fill it in. I don't want another skunk to come by and decide to move in.
The maple syrup pan pond is thawed. It may get a skim of ice on it but I can break it for the birds.
My new hearing aids are good. It was nice to be able to hear what was being said at Bible study last night. I almost didn't go. Busy days don't leave me any energy in the evening!
Violet is lightly sedated but the procedure is still making her nauseous so she is throwing up some. Today and tomorrow left. The doctors say within a few hours of the immunotherapy procedure being stopped she will feel good. Praying it is killing the cancer cells.
May God be with you on this day, Sally
