A cold, crunchy walk to the greenhouse this morning. People who were hoping for one last freeze up before mud season certainly got their wish.
Debbie and Maegin wallpapered yesterday. I had to order more wallpaper. What is done looks nice, I'm very happy with it. They spent the rest of the day transplanting. There are trays of plants sitting everywhere in the greenhouse. When it warms up tomorrow we will move the pansies out and run the hose again. If there is time we will move the calibrachoas out too. We'll cover them with remay so there is less of a shock from temperature change. The electric heater in the calibrachoa house keeps the low in the low forties instead of the main greeenhouse's night time temperature of 65.
A lot of the yellow marigold seeds didn't germinate so I ordered more seed. Our date for the second planting of marigolds on 4/4. The seeds will be here by then. Why we are waiting for things to warm up tomorrow the tomato seeds will get planted along with some others. The peppers are coming up.
My hearing aids came in so I have an appointment with the audiologist for noon today.
May God be with you on this day, Sally
