I got my hearing aids yesterday.  It took some time to get used to the noise and get the volume set where I was most comfortable.  They are all I had hoped they would be.  I am thankful that I was able to get them.  Lunch with my sister Lynne was very pleasant.  Shopping at Will's was not, very loud and confusing.    I forgot a few things.  Later I had to go to the hardware store so I went to the grocery store .  By then I was used to the hearing aids and had the volume adjusted better.  All was well.
Signs in Corinth congratulating the drama club reminded me that I hadn't posted that Sally Jo and her co-stars took first place in the regional play off last weekend.
I did some hand watering in the greenhouse.  Andrew spent some time on the coldframe.   It was too windy to do much but he wanted to figure out he was going to adjust the lids and pipe insulation to keep the heat in.  He is pleased with how it will work.  We also figured out a way to keep the lids tight when the wind blows.
Warm air coming in today will mean we can run the water hose again.  First plants watered will be the pansies.  Then they will go to an unheated greenhouse until the weekend of the 9th and 10th.  According to the forecast they can go outside then.
Lots of loads of logs were on the roads yesterday as truckers took advantage of the freeze up to get logs out of the woods..
May God be with you on this day.
