3/19/22 Close your eyes to the faults of others and you open the doors to friendships.

A light east breeze, 36 degrees.  It didn't get as cold as forecast, which is fine with me, I can do with no snow mixed in.  .08 of rain so far, a quarter of an inch forecast for today, another quarter of an inch tonight.  Today's high, 40 with a stiff east breeze.  tonight's low 38, with a brisk NE breeze.  Cloudy tomorrow for the arrival of spring with a west breeze, a high of 60, a low of 33.  NW winds Monday and Tuesday with partly cloudy skis.  A high of 44 Monday with a low of 26.  A high of 37 Tuesday, a low of 27. Partly cloud Wednesday with a brisk NW breeze, a high of 47, a low of 31.  Snow showers late Wednesday night.  Snow will change to rain Thursday with very little accumulation.  Thursday's high will be 39 with a SE breeze.  the low 34.  Rain/snow showers Friday with a brisk NNW breeze, a high of 45, a low of 33.  Cloudy next Saturday with a NW breeze, a high of 47, a low of 33. Morning rain/snow next Sunday with a brisk NW breeze, a high of 43, a low of 24.  Cloudy Monday the 28th, with a stiff NW breeze, a high of 37, a low of 19.   Cloudy Tuesday with a brisk NW breeze, a high of 38, a low of 24.  Moderating temperatures the rest of the week, highs of fifty for the first weekend in April.

We were all busy yesterday.  Lots of bumping up plants in the greenhouse.  Jay has the hoop house ready for petunias.  The weather forecast says we'll be moving plants out of the big greenhouse first of April, right on schedule.  The snow is leaving without flooding making it easy to get everything ready. Everything will be good for the Coast of Maine deliveries the first week in April.  Some years we've still had snow drifts.  The begonias in the cellar got moved to the greenhouse.
Doug bought me some maple syrup ready to be cooked down and canned.  The sap run has been enough for family but it hasn't been a very good year for commercial producers.
The live trap wasn't touched last night.  no smell of skunk either.  The skunk didn't like sharing with a cat? The flock of grackles moved on.  the redwing black birds went with them.  They must not have been the red wing black birds that nest here.
May God be with you on this day.
