Red wing black birds arrived yesterday with a small flock of grackles.  Enough of them so they chased even the bluejays away from the feeders.  Grackles are a sign of spring but I don't like them.  They are such bullies.
It was a busy day.  Maegin spent the day removing the wallpaper in the kitchen.  Bekah bumped up herbs and rhubarb.  Heather did some watering.  The rest of the seeds came.  We'll unpack them Monday and put the open sign up whenever we are here for people who want to get their seeds early.  We open for the season April 18yh.
The neighbor's cat got the tuna sandwich I put out for the skunk last night when I got home from a meeting at church..  He was gone like a shot the second I opened the trap door this morning.  At least I know the trap works.
Violet goes to the hospital March 28th for five days of immunotherapy.  She'll come home for two weeks and then go in for another round.
May God be with you this day, Sally
