2/26/22  Its not where your feet have been but where your feet are headed that matters.

Yesterday we got 6-8 inches of fluffy snow.  The breezes blew it against the back of the house to replace the snow banking that melted.  It Made some insulation for the greenhouse too.  With a high of 5 yesterday and a low of -4 this morning the furnace and wood stove are having to work to keep the greenhouse at seventy.  Lots of sunshine today will give us a high of 25.  There will be a west breeze, tonight's low 9.  Morning clouds/afternoon sun tomorrow with a light WNW wind, a high of 33, a low of 3.  Sunny Monday with a light NW wind, a high of 16, a low of -2.  Partly cloudy Tuesday with a SW breeze, a high of 27, a low of 20.  A few snow showers Wednesday morning with a NW breeze, a high of 34, a low of 12.  Six boxes of plug and cuttings come Wednesday.  Partly cloudy Thursday with a brisk NW breeze, a high of 28, a low of 5.  Cloudy Friday with a stiff WNW breeze, a high of26, a low of 9/ Partly cloudy next Saturday with a WMW breeze, a high of 33,a low of 20. Rain/snow next Sunday and Monday, brisk NW breezes, highsnear forty, lows, lows of 25.  Partly cloudy the rest of the week with highs in the thirties, lows in the twenties.  Some rain/snow possible at the end of the week.

The faucet froze up at the faucet in the horse barn yesterday.  LitAndrew showed up just on time to bring me a teakettle of water so I didn't have to trudge through the snow to the house for it.  It took most of the teakettle to thaw it.  I put more covering over it so the heat from the light bulb inside the box would keep it warm.  We can't get good light bulbs anymore.  Violet had a scan of the tumor yesterday, they'll get the results Monday or Tuesday. Bekah thought they'd be home by noon.  Try six o'clock last night.  Why Andrew was here he put wood in the greenhouse from the back room so Bekah just had to come put wood on the stove at ten.  I put wood on the stove at 515 AM and every three hours during the day if no one is working in the greenhouse.  Last night we got a shipping notice so no more changes in the shipment coming next week.
The new snow on top of the hard base makes good sledding for Doug and Nicole's sledding party today.  It may still be chilly but so much better than yesterday.  The birds are already feeding.  They were at the feeders all day yesterday.  Watching them it was obvious the regulars had bought friends.
May God be with you this day, Sally
