The temperature was warmer than it has been but the wind made the walk to the greenhouse seem colder this morning.  I took time to make sure the stove was burning good before I came in.  Yesterday's bright sunshine made the sledding party pleasant.  Lot of kids slept well last night.  probably fell asleep on the way home.  Snuggled in their Dad's laps the two year olds loved the long ride down the hill.  And the ride behind the snow machine as they were pulled back up so they could go down again.
Due to a toothache Debbie didn't want to go out in the cold.  She and Ayden spent the afternoon in the hot greenhouse filling hanging baskets for petunias.  Late in the afternoon we went to the clock man's house in Dexter to pick up the clock that told time in my parent's kitchn when I was a child.  It is now cleaned, oiled and sitting on a shelf telling everyone the time again.
Church this morning, then it is time to water the plants in the house.  There are lots of seedlings in the greenhouse waiting to be transplanted.  May God be with you this day, Sally
