A pleasant day yesterday.  Violet was smiling and comfortable as she had her 5th chemo treatment.  Tonight or tomorrow morning she comes home for three weeks.  Doctors will monitor her for the results of the chemo to decide if she needs more chemo or can go to Boston.
Bekah's mother's coworkers bought her a dishwasher,  so I went to Dover and got it. The girls had the old one out when I got there, Debbbie and Tim put the new one in.  Tim had picked up the pellet stove Jay and Bekah got before Violet got sick.  Jay's father will install it today.
Cindy made apple sauce, I canned some and the kids enjoyed some when they got off the school bus.  She made some tomato sauce too.  Plus an evening meal that Doug shared with us.  Cindy is determined I'm going to gain some weight this week!  She potted the rest of the geraniums.  Some were dark red.  I'm going to slip them for the church box next year.  The begonias haven't done so well since they made the box smaller.  I think the soil gets too warm for them.
More time today  will be spent getting ready for next week's frosty temperatures.  May God be with you on this day, Sally
