Violet came home late yesterday.  She looks good and is so happy to be home. When she went to bed she kept snuggling in her blankets saying, " my bed."  They have to be careful not to expose her to anything now, extremely careful in a couple of days as the chemo starts affecting her immune system as well as hopefully killing the cancer.
Gilbert had to replum for the dishwasher.  The old one was hooked up without a proper shut off and with clamps.  He put in a new shut off and drain and a regular dishwasher hose.  Instructions said to run it empty the first time.  Bekah did and it worked fine.
I got the rest of the celery out of the garden.  Cindy cut some stalks up for my freezer and some to take home.  I cut the leaves up and put them on the dryer over the stove.  One round of celery leaves are already dried and in jars.  I have to cut the parsley today.  It is going to seed.  I've never had that happen before.
Like the winter squash the apples are very dry.  When I make juice from them they don't make much.  It will take a lot more apples to make as much juice as I usually can.  I can it and make jelly as we need it.
Cindy and Heather potted the perennials from the fairy gardens and put away the little things in them.  Cindy has helped get lots of odds and ends like that done.  She is going home today.
May God be with you this day, Sally
