After today's chemo Violet will have a break from treatment.  She is not her usual happy self.
Cindy came to help for a few days.  I've not been able to keep up.  Even with help.  Replacing two full time people who work as hard as Bekah and Jay do is hard.  They have both been staying at the hospital with Violet.
Cindy and Darel's Heather went through the vegetable stand.   There are lots of hot peppers, which are free to anyone who can use them. The few sweet peppers left got cut up and put in our freezers. We have  lots of all kinds of winter squash.  Squash is $.75 a pound, $.50 a pound if you buy twenty pounds or more.  We will start moving squash inside today before the frosty temperatures get here.  Thinking ahead for some beauty next spring?  We have fall bulbs for sale.  Now is the time to plant them. Everything is self service.
The coolers are cleaned and put away with baking soda in them, ready for next year.  Except one.  I thought it was empty, it wasn't and now it doesn't smell too good.  Extra washing and soda for it for a few days.
May God be with you this day, Sally
