The strong NW all day yesterday kept us inside.  But it was a good day.  I got the Jolly farmer plug order done. Late afternoon  lil Andrew celebrated finishing  sheet rocking his house by fixing the chicken's eves so they can't get out and the cold winds can't get in.
Darel's Heather and Debbie spent the day cooking up all kinds of things with grapes, apples and tomatoes.  The top of the cookstove was covered all day with pans of good "stuff" bubbling away.  Today they will can the different sauces and butters.  And make salsa.  My big crock pot has had grapes or apples cooking in it for a couple of days and nights.
Come daylight I will be filling bird feeders.  The wind had them all horizontal yesterday, spilling out seeds. The birds could eat them off the ground thanks to the protection of the new fence.
May God be with you this day, Sally
