Violet did not have a good morning yesterday but was better in the afternoon.  How she feels is very up and down.  She goes to the hospital today to see if she needs a blood transfusion.
The garden is clean, plastic all in the dumpster and soaker hoses put away.  Jay got a start on putting the water hoses away.  The hose reel of hose we will need when we start the greenhouse is inside.  So are some soil bales that have biofungicide in them to use on flowers especially susceptible to fungus.
Jay and Debbie put what wood we have in the back room.  We hadn't planned on burning much wood this winter but where we are being told propane prices will skyrocket perhaps we need to rethink that.
Heather picked the grapes.  They also picked up more apples.  Today the girls plan to spend the day cooking.
A long productive day.  I didn't need to be up in the middle of the night because the power went off!  Gilbert was here to help get the generators going by the time I woke up and got dressed. I was tired enough so I didn't wake up right away. when the power went off  I haven't put the cords away, the way the wind continues to blow we may lose power again.
May God be with you this day, Sally
